Road safety charity, Brake have called for more to be done by police to deter and prevent drivers from jumping red lights, especially at dangerous junctions such as this.
Jason Wakeford, Director of Communications for Brake, the road safety charity, said: "The red lights and warning signals are in place for a reason - to keep all road users safe.
"The dangers of ignoring signals could be fatal and we would urge the police to investigate anyone deliberately putting themselves and others in danger as a matter of urgency."
